Molly Hashimoto’s signature bird prints are as beloved for their accurate portrayals as they are for their aesthetic charms. The images presented here showcase Hashimoto’s ingenuity in expressing her love of birds: one can hear the warbler’s voice, the woodpecker’s drumming, the whirr of the hummingbird’s wings. All are positioned against backgrounds of quiet nature, where the artist and naturalist spends her time observing and sketching in preparation for creating her prints12 of which grace this wall calendar.
